Description:
This family-friendly fun run-style 5k takes place on our Panther Run trail in the heart of Carolina Forest. Costumes are encouraged during the race and awards will be given in several categories for best costume. The event also includes a FREE trunk-or-treat event before the 5K, open to all children!

Ghost of the Coast 5K Events:
2:00pm: Trunk-or-Treat
4:00pm: Ghost of the Coast 5k race begins!
5:15pm: Awards Ceremony

Packet Pick-Up/Late Registrations:
October 25th: Horry County Government & Justice Center Atrium, 1301 Second Avenue, from 11:00am-1:00pm
October 26th: Race afternoon at the gate under the blue tent, beginning at 2:00pm
Start and Finish:
The start and finish lines will be behind the Carolina Forest Recreation Center on the Panther Run Trail. This 5K takes many twists and turns for a not-so-spooky family-friendly trail run. Start and Finish are in the same location so family and friends can cheer participants on!
Awards:
All participants completing the 5K will receive a custom finishers medal. Overall winners will not be eligible for age division awards. Overall winners and age division winners will receive a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place medal for the top three finishers in each division. See below for award details. Awards will take place at 5:00pm.
